New editions of Lomography instant camera

December 09, 2017

Two new Lomo`Instant camera editions and one new version of Lomo`instant Automat Glass.

As many of you know Lomography, adds to their collection limited edition colors/designs that are always stylish and beautiful. In general nothing inside of the camera changes, nor the different packages. Meaning if you get a premium standard color it will be the same as premium limited edition which is pretty neat. As usual there are two package options - just the camera and camera plus lens, color gels, and lens cap.

Lomo`Instant

The first camera from the limited edition series is named after Yangon (the largest city in Myanmar).

The gold color of the camera reminds me of the beautiful Shwedagon Pagoda. The most sacred religious monument in Myanmar. On the website it is described like this: With its gold exterior, the Lomo’Instant Yangon is reminiscent of stunning sunsets over the glittering domes of this ancient city, this Burmese beauty will be your perfect new experimental companion.

The second one is the Lomo`Instant Oxford.

Complete opposite to the golden and sunny Yangon. The Oxford edition is in Olive Green and Grey combo. Suitable for people who love darker colors. The dark color scheme reminds me of the rainy days in England or the roof of Pembroke College. On the website the camera is described as -
We’re paying homage to the ‘‘city of dreaming spires’’ with the Lomo’Instant Oxford, this little instant camera is one smart cookie.

Next are Lomo'instant Glass and in particular the Kilimanjaro edition.  The snow white and blue detail remind me on the snowy top of Kilimanjaro. The camera is described on the lomography website as : Inspired by Africa’s highest snowy summit, meet the Lomo’Instant Automat Glass Kilimanjaro! The chalky, white punctured leather camera.
The detail on the back adds to the snowy mountain feeling of  the camera.
